I was unfamiliar with the blog layout as I’ve never done anything like this before so my blog wasn’t the best but has helped me learn more about my own art practice. I enjoyed having a space where I could talk about my work and document moments, which I can now look back on and use for future research and help.
I think the research module helped me with my artist research and my own practice, it pushed me to get out of my comfort zone and wok in new ways. Having a blog also helped me with my management, I knew I had a task for each week so I had to set a time around the rest of my work in which I could sit down and get them done. I particularly liked task three where we got to pick the picture because I found new artists and explored a subject that I’ve not done much research into, it also helped me with doing better artist research.
