#5 – Back to Uni!
#5 - Back to Uni!
So, I've just started back at uni. Second year promises to be insanely hard, but it should be good fun. I'm happy that I get to see all my friends again, and it means I finally have something to do! Woohoo. I've been so bored these last few months. Finding a summer job is impossibly difficult, but, and here's some pretty big news, I actually have a freaking job! Woohoo! I'm working as a Barman in the Student Union.

Fresher’s Week II, Free Food, and lots and lots of coursework!
It’s been a month since I returned to Southampton, and a very good month it’s been! It all started with me helping with the ECS Jumpstart City Challenge, which involved leading a group of freshers around the town whilst they had to create a comic book style story incorporating all the places we visited. We also had to include such crazy things such as being chased by a group of over 20 people, getting resuscitated by a paramedic and meeting the mayor, amongst others.

Freshers Week at Southampton
Part 1
I've been here for about 5 weeks now, it doesn't feel like it though... but then again time in University seems to work completely differently from the rest of the world. It feels like I've been here for no time at all, and yet freshers week seems years ago.
The first thing I noticed when I started here was how much free time you have. And yet even with all this free time, I always seem to run out, every time I start doing something I always end up doing it for hours on end.

Im Finally a University Student
Hello, world! (or should that be System.out.println("Hello, world!");)
It's only in writing this blog, that it's finally hit me that I'm a university student!? I know this may seem strange.. I've shopped for myself and cooked for myself, done my own laundry, gone to lectures, done lab work.. The list goes on, but still, it's only now that I've realized that I'm a real university student.
