In an attempt of identifying the users of the web, there have been different theories developed to categorize the different users and how they are using the Web. Marc Prensky developed a theory about the users of the web and how they could be categorized as ‘digital natives’ or ‘digital immigrants’, describing whether or not the user is born into the “digital generation”.
