Welcome to the Summer 2015 Intern Team!
Hello Everyone,
It’s that time of year when we begin to plan everything that Mission Employable hopes to deliver to students in 2015/16. As we received a lot of positive feedack from both staff and students on our first year, we decided that we wanted to make our activity even better for the second year!
Back in March 2015 Dr Eleanor Quince and I interviewed and appointed 3 student interns to work with Mission Employable on new ideas and projects. They are:
- Lewis Brennen – Peer Mentoring Coordinator 2015/16
- Bobbi Quinn – Educational Development Officer (Employability Module)
- Cora Phillips – Educational Development Officer (Employability Module)
In addition, we also have 3 members of the Mission Employable team who are working in partnership with the Southampton Opportunity Project:
- Sophie Pitman – Humanities Enterprise Champion
- James Chadwick – Humanities OPUS Champion
- Elizabeth Oliver – Humanities OPUS Champion
We previously mentioned the fantastic work that the OPUS project are doing, but if you would like to know more, have a look at their website: https://blog.soton.ac.uk/opus/
A very warm welcome to all the new members of #TeamHums! We are really looking forward to seeing what you come up with for Mission Employable, the Faculty and the University over the next few months.
