In this instance, the internet is the world and all of its users are the players. Reflecting on Identities

After reading the peer’s posts, I have gained more insights on the various online identities people have. In my previous post, I felt I lacked the analysis in anonymity online – which I will further elaborate now. Self Produced Self Produced The Internet isn’t always a safe place for the LGBT community, or those who are recovering from drug abuse … etc as there could be controversy and hate remarks, which is why they would prefer to communicate anonymously. After exploring my peer’s blog, i have learned a few knowledge on online identities. In Denise’s blog, i have learned the importance of managing our social media as it leaves digital footprint which are permanent in the online world. Maintaining a reputable image is essential when individual is looking for a job. Great resume will unlock great doors, but these doors can close because of what we do on social media.
