New ‘CLIL’ MOOC launched

The Universitat PolitĂšcnica de ValĂšncia (UPV) has launched a four-week MOOC running from 4 May to 8 June 2015 for anyone interested in learning to create content-rich lessons using Clilstore, a dedicated CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) authoring tool. The next Centre for Transnational Studies (TNS) seminar will take place from 5:00-7:00pm on Wednesday 18th March 2015 in Room 1177, Building 65, Avenue Campus. Intercultural Connections Southampton Project seminar: ‘Business School Peer Advisors, helping Postgraduate students make the transition to studying at University of Southampton.’

The first of a series of seminars run by the Intercultural Connections Southampton Project will take place on Wednesday 18 March 2015 from 13:00-14:00 in Building 6, Room 1083, Highfield Campus. The seminar will be led by Emma Lester and Mary Morrison of the Southampton Business School, and is entitled ‘Business School Peer Advisors, helping Postgraduate students make the transition to studying at University of Southampton.’ Lunch will be provided. Modern Languages’ French Theatre Club to preview La Cantatrice Chauve

Modern Languages’ French theatre club will be presenting a preview of La Cantatrice Chauve by Ionesco on Thursday 19 March 2015 at 7pm in Lecture Theatre A, Building 65, Avenue Campus. The event (preview and drinks) will last around 1 hour. It is a free event but please bring drinks and nibbles or a donation (80% will go to a charity, 20% to the club to fund costumes and makeup).
