Question: Explain the concept of digital “visitors” and “residents” drawing upon your reading and your own online experiences to date in support of the points that you make. REFLECTION ON TOPIC 1

It has been quite an interesting start to this module – understanding how online users can be defined based on their behaviors, and learning where our classmates put themselves along the visitor-resident continuum. Never had I given any thoughts about the behaviors of online users and always assumed that everyone is a digital resident since we are in the digital age. To me, anyone who uses technology are deemed to be tech-savvy!
