In the past week, the class have evaluated the impact of digital differences on how people interact with the Web. After reading classmates’ posts, I have gained deeper understanding and further thoughts about the topic. In Aaron’s blog post, he discuss the internet usage divergence for different genders. He points out that men are more likely to use internet to play online games, watch movies, or engaging in forums. In contrast, women spend most of time online to do online shopping. (Time to ponder) It’s an irony how the Internet has integrated the world, yet have caused social degradation in reality, especially amongst the younger generation. Internet Addiction can reach up to as high as 8.2% in USA/Europe (BrandonGaille.com, 2017).
