After reading up on this topic, it has definitely made me appreciate the resources and materials that is freely accessible to me today. Without open access, I wouldn’t have been able to learn so many skills by myself. Multiple ‘identities’ is not something unique to the online realm. We display partial identities in ‘real life’ depending on whom we interact with as well (Eg. to co-workers; to family).
