Sharing is Caring. What I have learnt from Topic 5.

This topic is a very debatable subject and I was looking forward to reading what my classmates would be sharing after researching and blogging about open access materials. Ebrahim shared about Coursera and I think it is such a great way to share and teach others information. Coursera would really help the public gain knowledge and this would lead to more scientific discoveries like I have mentioned in my previous blog post. Continue reading →

Free Music? BOOOOOO!

Her emphasis on pitching the unique skills and experiences will be helpful in differentiating an individual’s profile from others. She also highlighted that choosing pictures that reflect yourselves help make the profile authentic. Continue reading →

Hire me! I’m awesome!(for real)

Developing a professional online presence is important as one has to have control over how they are perceived online. Nothing embarrassing like: She was wearing pants but I still found this a bit obscene and hence covered it with hearts. Continue reading →

What I have learnt from Topic 2

I found Zoe’s blog post similar to mine. We both agreed that our personal and professional lives should be separated. Zoe also shared with me how scams can be another way of abusing multiple online identities after I commented asking about the negative aspects of multiple online identities. Continue reading →
