Don’t forget that your two comments should be posted by close of play today (14th) and your reflective summaries are due by end of Sunday, 18th Oct. You will then get individual feedback on Topic 1 as a whole by end of play on Tuesday 20th.
As advised in the prevous message, don’t forget that you need to give your posts a Category of “Topic 1” in order for them to display in the right section of the module blog. If you can’t see your work coming through to it, please check this issue out. You are far more likely to get feedback/comments from your colleagues if your posts are visible within the module blog.
Some of you have asked about how to tackle the topic 1 reflection:
Make sure your reflective summaries don’t just repeat your original answers to the set question, but instead draw on what you have learned subsequently since reading and responding to the work of others – feel free to highlight specific posts/tweets by your colleagues or tutors that you found useful, and explain why. Don’t forget the advice in the “Reflective Writing” guidelines.
Please make sure that you include links to the comments you’ve made on the work of other students in your summary post so we can read everything in one place.
Finally, make sure you check out the Tools and Tips section of the blog. Feel free to propose your own contributions to this.
You will get an individual feedback sheet by email – don’t forget this Topic 1 is not formally graded but please adjust your approach if necessary as suggested in the feedback for your contributions to Topics 2 – 5.
