Who are we in the digital world?

  A digital visitor, as the word ‘visits’ suggest, an individual that simply comes and go. They go on the Internet only if they have a need such as searching for certain information on Google. They do not have a long term presence and certainly leave little or no trace online. As opposed to a Visitor, a Digital Resident ‘lives’ or ‘resides’ on the web. Digital Literacy: Self-Test

A digital literacy self-test is an awesome way to get started on this new module, Living and Working on the Web.  This topic got me thinking about what if there is no internet, can I survive? I definitely don’t think I can survive without the internet. My daily routine usually starts with browsing through Twitter and the day goes on with surfing the internet, going on Youtube, browsing Instagram, Googling for information and etc. Continue reading →

Introduction

Hi all! This is Zoe :) Just a quick introduction about myself: A Labor Day baby born in 1994, currently twenty years old. I am happy to be pursuing a Marketing degree in University of Southampton. It’s great meeting new people and learning from one another.  I was from Ngee Ann Polytechnic, studying Business Studies and that was when my interest for Marketing developed.
