Explain the concept of digital “visitors” and “residents” drawing upon your reading and your own online experiences to date in support of the points that you make.
I think that Visitors are people who have an agenda as to what they are looking for and once it is completed, they log off. Whereas, residents are people who log on to the Internet as a hobby, maybe some take it seriously.
An example of a visitor would be Online Market Researchers.
