Able Linguist and Study Days this week

Two exciting events are happening this week in Modern Languages and Linguistics at the University of Southampton: Year 8 Able Linguist day On Wednesday 12th June, a group of Year 8 able linguists, selected by their schools from the most able pupils, with get a chance to further develop their language skills. Future Modern Languages students to attend Routes into Languages Study Day

Approximately 100 Year 12 students will be visiting the University’s Avenue Campus on Wednesday 17 June to participate in a Routes into Languages Study Day. Students will participate in sessions on cultural topics, grammar and speaking in French, German or Spanish, and will have the chance to do an ab initio session in Chinese or Portuguese.
