Intercultural Connections Southampton to host free events in September

Modern Languages to host BALEAP PIM on English Medium Instruction

The Department of Modern Languages at the University of Southampton will be hosting this year’s BALEAP Professional Issues Meeting on Saturday 11th June 2016 at Avenue Campus. University hosts successful China Day as part of Culture Festival week

China Day, hosted jointly by the Faculty of Humanities, the Confucius Institute and the Chinese Students and Scholars Association, with support from SUSU, took place on 27th April 2016 in the SUSU Concourse, and was a great success! Activities included a traditional music performance, paper cutting, calligraphy, Kung-fu and a photo exhibition. Some of the highlights of the event can be seen on this short video. Brazilian Carnival at the Students’ Union

This Saturday, SLAPS (the Spanish, Latin American and Portuguese Society) and the Brazilian Society are holding a Carnival in Bar 2 of SUSU (Southampton University Students’ Union) this Saturday.
