CGE seminar tomorrow: “Rethinking competence: goals for lingua franca pedagogy and teacher education”

The next Centre for Global Englishes (CGE) seminar will take place tomorrow, Wednesday 4th February 2015, from 5:00-6:30pm in Lecture Theatre C, Building 65, Avenue Campus. Professor Anna Mauranen visits Modern Languages

Professor Mauranen, Vice-Rector of the University of Helsinki and Professor of English is currently spending the week within Modern Languages here at Southampton as a recipient of one of the University’s Diamond Jubilee Fellowships. Amongst other activities during her visit, she will be presenting the Centre for Global Englishes seminar: “English as Lingua Franca – Broken English?”, taking place today, Wednesday 15 October, in Lecture Theatre C, Avenue Campus, from 5:00-6:30pm.
