Superstar Summer

Jon Gingell teaches guitar at Southampton University as well as working in theatre as performer, programmer and copyist.  He is a Southampton Music graduate. Over the summer break, I have been dividing my time between theatre work in Paris, Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre and the National Theatre, and live gigs on the european blues festival circuit with American singer-songwriter Earl Thomas. The next Centre for Linguistics, Language Education and Acquisition Research (CLLEAR) seminar will take place on Wednesday 19th October 2016 from 4:00-6:00pm in Lecture Theatre C, Building 65, Avenue Campus. Intercultural Staff Cafe Thursday 10 November

Following the successful launch event, Intercultural Connections Southampton (ICS) are delighted to announce that their second Intercultural Staff Café will take place on Thursday 10 November 2016 from 14:30 – 16:30 in the Nuffield Kitchen. University of Southampton Confucius Institute Day 2016

The University of Southampton Confucius Institute is hosting a mid-Autumn festival and Confucius Institute Day on Wednesday 19th October 2016 from 4:30-6pm in the Terrace Restaurant, Highfield Campus. The theme of this free event, sponsored by Chinese Hanban is “Blooming Flowers and a Full Moon”, and aims to engage Southampton locals with an interest in Chinese culture and language.
