New online platform for finding and comparing language courses launched

LanguageLearningPortal.com, a new online platform that aims to help prospective language learners globally to search for, compare and select language courses that correspond to their needs, has recently been launched through a partnership between the Centre for Languages, Linguistics and Area Studies (LLAS) at the University of Southampton, StudyPortals and Linguaid, as part of the Hello! ‘Understanding Language: learning and teaching’ MOOC numbers reach over 57,000

Now in its third week, the FutureLearn MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) ‘Understanding Language: learning and teaching’, a collaboration between the University of Southampton and the British Council, currently has over 57,000 people registered. The next Centre for Linguistics, Language Education and Acquisition Research (CLLEAR) seminar will take place on Wednesday 10 December 2014 from 5:00-7:00pm in Lecture Theatre A, Avenue Campus.
