New online platform for finding and comparing language courses launched

LanguageLearningPortal.com, a new online platform that aims to help prospective language learners globally to search for, compare and select language courses that correspond to their needs, has recently been launched through a partnership between the Centre for Languages, Linguistics and Area Studies (LLAS) at the University of Southampton, StudyPortals and Linguaid, as part of the Hello! ‘Understanding Language: learning and teaching’ MOOC numbers reach over 57,000

Now in its third week, the FutureLearn MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) ‘Understanding Language: learning and teaching’, a collaboration between the University of Southampton and the British Council, currently has over 57,000 people registered.
