Topic 2 – Reflection

This topic was a lot broader than I first anticipated. From looking at some of the other blog posts I can clearly see that. There were a lot of different views on this subject and everyone had a different way to target this question.

I personally like the way Bartosz targeted the question at hand. He gave a view of how we would act in real life to different social groups and then added upon this by linking it with online identities. He also had some thought provoking links like how someone lost their job before even starting because of something they posted online. Expanding on this point, Dilini linked me to a very interesting video on a similar subject.

Another blog I reviewed and commented on was Zia’s.  He took a different approach to this post then I sore from others. He was writing from a neutral view for the most part , giving more facts than opinions. I for one feel this method worked out well and gave me a better insight to the argument.

Personally on reflection, I feel I could have taken less of a bias view when writing this post. I ended up focusing on my own opinion so much that I missed some key aspects that could have been covered. The comments on the post are testament to that, as they mainly ask about the option of having one online identity.
