What is it?
Another interesting and effective method of giving feedback is the use feedback forms straight after a lecture. Some lecturers ask their students at the end of their lectures to complete a short questionnaire in which students are required to identify and highlight any problems they may have come across during the lecture. Based on the comments gathered on the feedback forms, the lecturer can then deal with any problems or issues at the beginning of the following lecture. However, this method does not have to be restricted to lectures; it can also be used in laboratory sessions for example.
How can students make the most of it?
If students are asked to fill in such a form, it is best to be as honest as possible so that they can receive as much feedback as possible on aspects of the previous lecture that they haven’t understood properly.
