The following scenario demonstrates how LeapIn.it may be used by companies for creating and maintaining sponsored rooms.
1- A company representative uses LeapIn.it on a smartphone and sees sponsored rooms.
2- The representative decides to get a sponsored room in LeapIn.it and accesses the web-based interface to register the company.
3- The representative clicks on Advertisers link to get a sponsored room in the virtual world.
4- The representative loggs in using his LeapIn.it username and password.
5- A company can have more than one advertising campaign and therefore the system presents the existing campaigns. The representative clicks on the new campaign button.
6- The representative is required to enter the name of the advertised product and related keywords for the purpose of customising the advertisements.
7- The representative can choose the number of users who will join the sponsored room and the price is shown for each option. The number of users can be customised and the price will be calculated accordingly.
10- Payment authentication is handled by an external website (e.g. PayPal).
12- The campaign is shown in the representative’s page and he can create new campaign or renew existing campaigns.
Following this, the sponsored room will be active until funds run out. Posts from the room will be targeted towards users with similar interests.
