Four peer-reviewed papers, which can be read here, were accepted into the workshop. They covered aspects such as data visualization, urban data in schools and developing tools for data literacy. The final session of the workshop allowed attendees to come together in emerging an agenda for those interested in developing data literacy, with groups working on questions such as ‘what is data literacy’, ‘why is it important’ and ‘how do we build a community of practice’.
