Jolly-day on Wednesday 9th December, 10:00-16:30 in the Concourse and on the Redbrick, then 18:00-20:00 in The Bridge, Students’ Union (Building 42)

End of term blues? Feeling a little stressed in the lead up to Christmas? Join us for a day of festive fun at the Students’ Union in aid of all things jolly! With free tasters from Buddhist Meditation, Salsa, Yoga, Afrodynamix, Belly Dance, and Zumba! As well as FREE tea and hot chocolate on the Redbrick and mindfulness colouring on the Concourse!

The aim of this event is to promote equality through raising awareness of discrimination or hardship people face in society, and also promote a bit of self-love in the midst of deadlines in the run up to the academic winter break!

There will be charity and society stalls on the Redbrick and Concourse (Building 42), with fun activities to help you get that warm fuzzy feeling!

And if all that wasn’t enough, join us for a charity raffle in The Bridge from 6pm onwards, including performances from FolkSoc and Belly Dance Society!

The best part? This event is totally FREE!

There will be raffle tickets to buy, 30p per ticket or £1 per strip of 5, at the evening event if you want to be in with a chance of winning some fab prizes including food vouchers, book vouchers, memberships from societies etc.

All money raised during the course of the day will be going to Southampton Women’s Aid and the Society of Saint James homelessness charity.

What: Jolly-Day – come and brighten your day, love yourself and love others!
