Bright Club is coming to Southampton on 26th July! Bright Club started at University College London as an experiment 6 years ago with the idea of putting comedians and researchers from universities together on a single stage. Bright Club is a great chance to let people know what research is happening at the University of Southampton in a fun and engaging way.  It also helps researchers to take a completely different view of their research and inject some humour into it.

With its continued success and spreading across the country it is now the turn of the University of Southampton to introduce our very own Bright Club. The general format of the evening will be 4-8 researchers from the University presenting their work in the form of comedy, music, poetry or dance…we know that not everyone wants to do comedy so we welcome performances of all varieties. And to ensure everything runs smoothly a 2 professional comedians will be hosting and headlining.

However we will always be looking for more people to come forward and perform or just come along and support the researchers! So if you want to get involved then get in touch with us by emailing, or find us on Facebook and Twitter.
