Sustainability Action is recruiting for three term-time internships in partnership with the Southampton Business Ethics and Environment Students (BEES) programme:
- BEES Volunteer Co-ordinator: develop your organisation skills and volunteer knowledge by working within the BEES team to promote volunteer opportunities, help with their training and support their work in organisations.
- BEES Communications Assistant: support the team by delivering publicity and general communications campaigns, raising the profile of BEES across a wide range of media outlets.
- BEES Sustainability Practice Assistant: develop tools to help local businesses to become more environmentally, socially and economically sustainable.
Just some of the reasons you should apply for one – or more! – of the roles:
- Earn the Living Wage: good business practice starts with us, so we pay all our interns the Living Wage.
- CV experience: gain paid experience to complement your degree programme
- Networking opportunities: joining the team for the year will give you the chance to meet local employers, and connect with others in the sector.
- Develop your transferable skills: being part of the BEES team will enhance your team-working, communication skills, initiative… all skills employers seek!
- A good feeling from having a positive impact: BEES is improving local business practice, giving Southampton students sustainability training and experience, and working to put ethical and environmental considerations at the heart of Southampton. Join the team to be part of this great initiative!
