I’ve had my poster finished for a week or so now. Took quite a few revisions but I think it has confirmed my belief that I prefer images over words. For this task I’ve tried to include as much information as possible but if in the future I’m creating another academic poster I think I might stick with 2-3 striking images and an odd statistic in order for people to grasp my project and for the poster to spark a conversation. The task has been good in forcing us to synthesise a lot of our thoughts and I’m sure after presenting it I will make some revisions to my first draft of the essay.
