2. CLIENTS SEGMENT: Who are our customers,/users?

Those who attend a lot of entertainment events. Those looking to get the most for their money.

Where are they?
We have handpicked 5 major cities to begin with as the first test run of our service. The vast majority of highly attended events take place in a limited number of venues in certain major cities so we should not see any major lack of uptake due to not rolling out nationwide from the very beginning.

Which social level?
Likely to not be the poorest in society as entertainment is a luxury that sadly some can ill afford. Therefore the majority of users will have a disposable income.

Who are they?: Age, Sex, Studies, Country

Results from our survey broken down into ages.

Our survey results indicated that near enough all age ranges share similar concerns and feelings about venues and crowd-reviewing. No matter of the question (see full results here) no one age group was overwhelming different in their choice of answer. What we can infer from this is that the service is likely to appeal from all ranges of age. Equally our survey had a relatively even number of male and female respondents and they again showed little difference in their choices, thus Be Seated should appeal to both sexes. As for country, we are only aiming to begin our service in the UK then expand. The only obstacles we can foresee is if there are local competitors already in the market or if cultural and economic factors dictate that the website is not as useful, these however are out of our scope in our initial plans.
