Dr Stephen Prior was appointed by WorldSkills UK as their Expert for Mobile Robotics and in this role he observed the competition in Shizouka, Japan in Nov 2007. In 2008, teams from Middlesex won Gold in Mechatronics and Silver in Mobile Robotics in the UK Finals. In 2009, teams from Middlesex were awarded Gold in Mobile Robotics and Silver in Mechatronics. In 2010, teams from Middlesex won Gold in both competitions.
We are now focussing on the WSC 2011 when London will host the event. It is envisaged that Middlesex students could represent the UK Mobile Robotics and Mechatronics teams in these events.
