In our meeting on 30/04/2015 we have begun preparations for our Dragon’s Den pitch. After discussing the format, we have come to some decisions regarding the pitch:
- As the pitch is only 5 minutes we have decided that 2 members of the team will be responsible for delivering the pitch while the other team members will focus on answering questions from the panel.
- We have decided that 1 male and 1 female will present and the sections of the pitch will be mostly split between the technical and non-technical aspects of the project.
- Further meetings are scheduled and plans are already being drawn up on how to make the presentation as interactive as possible.
- We will have a trial Dragon’s Den next Thursday in order for all members to prepare. We will draft a number of example questions and will try re-create the event by posing these questions and putting team members on the spot to answer. Likewise, there will be practice runs of the full Dragon’s Den pitch at the meeting.
- We have already looked into good hints and tips in presentation techniques and will adopt as many as we can to create the best pitch possible.
Hopefully we will be ready and we look forward to the event!
