The Future of Be Seated

Be Seated-logo(2)Future of Be Seated

We have presented a feasible, realistic and workable first build of Be Seated. We are aware however of all the extra features that could be added to make the service bigger, better and more exciting for users. Here is a selection of future improvements that we could implement as our service grows and grows.

  • More integration with venues.
    • Live availability of seats/tickets.
    • Offers for users from venues (discounts, etc).
    • Venues to verify where users are sitting and if they have confirmed tickets for specific events.
    • Potential for Be Seated to sell valuable market research back to venues. The website is likely to collect lots of data on what customers like and dislike about venues of all shapes and sizes. Can assist venues to improve their service.
  • Expand to more cities.
    • If popular then expand out to more cities.
  • More social elements.
    • Users verify exactly where they are sitting so they can interact with those who are sitting around them prior to the event. One main tool out of this would be that users could talk to other attendees to events in order to swap seats to be closer to friends or even if people have spare/unused tickets for sale they can indicate this on the website. (Certainly privacy issues to consider with this).
    • More interaction around the full experience of attending a venue. Perhaps sections of the site can help review food items/sound quality. More niche elements within the site could be added to review the whole venue experience.
    • Further integration with Facebook/Spotify, etc. Complimentary services can use/link to our service. For Facebook their events element of their service can be linked to our event pages. Similarly Spotify/music streaming services may want to link to our events/venue pages.
    • Annual venue awards? Try organise best venue award voted by the crowd. Gives recognition and exposure to our service. Also gets crowd more involved.
