A few more items from the last month in performance:

This year jazz and pop students from the department of Music and MuSoc – the student music society – are putting on a series of nights at our partner live music venue, Talking Heads. Here are some photos from the second event last week – next one is on 29 January.
An informal shot of Southampton University Organists: from right to left, John Challenger, Assistant Director of Music at Salisbury Cathedral; his student, Will Duxson (year 1) , who was about to play a recital of Langlais, Bach and Vierne at the church of St Michael and All Angels ; and Professor David Owen Norris, head of keyboard studies at the university.
And finally, here are some photos from Friday’s lunchtime concert – join us this coming Friday 5 December for a concert of new contemporary works by student composers.
