For Southampton UG Archaeology Students

Your time spent at Portus will form a part of your compulsory 1st year fieldwork requirement. You will not be formally assessed, but the field work director will be asked to comment on your performance on the report sent to the Head of Fieldwork. This report consists of a self-assessment form that you will be asked to fill in and to which comments of those that supervised you will be added. This document needs to be in before the beginning of the first semester of your second year and serves as a proof of your fulfillment of the fieldwork requirement.
