Different mocks up were created for the main screens of the app such as: home page, search, leaderboard and profile. In all of the mock ups there are some shared elements such as the menu at the top and bottom bar, the icon will change color depending on the screen that is active.

The home screen is what the user is going to see once the app is launched. Here the user can check the trends for the different categories. Basically, what has been popular in the last few days or weeks. Some of the categories can be: restaurants, pubs, gigs or nightclubs; however, there can be many more categories or the user can define which categories are to be shown in the home screen according to their preferences.

After the trends section there is going to be a map that shows the recently checked places around the user. The map will display with different colors (depending on the categories) what the people are doing.

The next screen to cover is “Search”, the functionality of this screen is to specify different criteria to find places according to that. For example, the user wants to know where people with a high ranking for restaurants aged “25 – 30” eat Chinese food. The user will hit the search button and a map will be displayed below with the markers on the map and the list of the places that match the query.

The third screen is “Leaderboard”, where the user can check the different categories to see how the people are doing per category and in which position the user stands. The second section of this screen is “Your ranking” where the user can visualize the level he/she has in the different categories. More levels mean more/better rewards.

 

Finally, the last element of the menu is “Profile”, in this screen the user can check their details such as name, age and username, select different interests and review their activity. The following screenshot shows the elements of this screen.
