A special issue of the journalĀ AutismĀ was published in May 2013 focusing on ‘school-based research of autism spectrum disorders‘ , jointly guest edited by Sarah Parsons andĀ ProfessorĀ Connie Kasari from UCLA. A podcast is now available in which Sarah and Connie talk about the papers in the issue and what prompted the idea. The editorial for theĀ special issueĀ can be downloaded for free hereĀ and emphasises the need for autismĀ researchers to commit to carrying out more research in school settings.
