Previously there were three forms in existence for booking Conferences, requesting Accommodation and requesting Travel.
As part of Diane Taylor’s Yellow Belt Project it was found that a lot of time was wasted by staff having to complete the three forms separately, whilst duplicating effort typing the same information in each form. The forms were felt to be too complex which put people off wanting to complete them. This lead to increased time spent by Diane obtaining the necessary information required for the booking(s).
To make the forms more Lean, it was decided to combine the three forms into one form. This allows people to complete the part(s) they require on the one form without duplicating any information. This also provides Diane with all the necessary information to be able to complete the booking quicker.
This form can now be found on the ServiceNow Self Service Portal -> IT Requests -> iSolutions-Only Requests -> Conference, Training, Accommodation & Travel
