An update has been promoted into ServiceNow that addresses a number of small issues or feature requests, including:

  • Short Description now has spell check enabled, the same as the Description field.

  • Short Description is now visible again on the portal view of tickets (had been hidden in error in a previous change).
  • Contact Type no longer changes to Email if the Logged For on a ticket changes.  The Contact Type should remain constant across the ticket’s lifecycle.  This change has also meant that all Contact Types are visible regardless of Logged For so they can remain consistent if the Logged For changes.
  • Managers can now add and remove members in the groups that they are set as the Group Manager.
