Concordat to Support the Career Development of Researchers
The University of Southampton is committed to support the career development of its fixed term staff. As part of this, the University is a signatory to the Concordat to Support the Career Development of Researchers (a nationally important document), which details the expectations and responsibilities of researchers, their managers, employers and funders. These seven key principles align with the principles of the European Charter for Researchers and Code of Conduct for their Recruitment.
As part of the implementation strategy for the Concordat, each Faculty was asked to submit a Concordat Implementation Plan.
