Appraisal

PPDR

 

All staff should receive an annual Appraisal (previously called Personal Performance and Development Review PPDR) with their line manager/supervisor irrespective of their contract type (Permanent/fixed term/part-time/full-time).

The Appraisal is an important element of effective performance management and personal development.

An Appraisal (PPDR) Process Flowchart and a blank Appraisal (PPDR) form can be found on the Faculty Intranet site, under Documents and Directorate admin. You can access this information from the icon on your desktop or by logging into SUSSED, selecting the School tab, followed by Faculty Intranet link and selecting the Governance tab.

 

The Professional Development Unit (PDU)

The PDU has a course on ‘Conducting a Personal Performance and Development Review’ for managers and supervisors of academic staff.
