Ethical Hedonist – Fashion Film & Video Internship
Alison Jane Reid, founder and editor of Ethical Hedonist Magazine – www.ethical-hedonist.com and a journalist extraordinaire is looking for a brilliant, enterprising, highly creative undergraduate in fashion pr and marketing to shoot compelling, beautifully crafted short video clips and mini films. The candidate should be excited by high quality journalism, sustainable luxury and digital revolution. You will be have a thorough grasp of social media trends and know how to find and engage our target audience of educated, discerning, slow life readers who love luxury with a purpose and ethics. This opportunity will initially run as work experience with a view to ongoing paid collaboration through sponsorship. Minimum work experience period two weeks. This can be in the form of 2- 4 assignments where you demonstrate what you can do and execute it.
The brief
To revolutionise the way we share AJ’s ideas around sustainable luxury and create opportunities with authentic luxury brands to work with us. Shoots and assignments will be in Ventnor on the Isle of Wight and London. Topics to be covered include – Made in Britain, vintage, up-cycled and slow fashion; slow and organic food, recipe creation; positive money : organic beauty, sustainable home and celebrity interviews with actors and icons and green luxury travel.
Alison will pay travel expenses and where we can a sponsored or paid opportunity with a brand, you will be paid for role in the making of the video, broadcast or clip. Deadline – asap. Alison Jane has a twenty-year career in print journalism at The Times, You, Sunday Times, The Lady, Illustrated London News and Country Life and has interviewed more than a thousand A list icons from Sir David Attenborough to Karl Lagerfeld and the stars of Downton Abbey.
