DEPARTMENT
The Creative department is a busy and dynamic team, made up of 3 Designer and 2 Commissioners. They work at the centre of each campaign, collaborating closely with our artists to create and deliver the visual identity for albums, including artwork, photoshoots and styling. They work on a whole range of artists, from the biggest names on the label to brand new signings.
HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR DAYS
Office based:
- Working with the team on the planning and organisation of creative projects and photoshoots
- Conducting image, location, styling or design research
- Interfacing with external suppliers – photographers, agencies, stylists etc– on a daily basis, to help with the logistics and administration of projects
- Being the key point of contact for suppliers with regard to their payments – working with our npayment systems and accounts team
- Engaging directly with our artists, ensuring riders are fulfilled and artists are looked after in the office or on-set
- Proactively managing departmental administration and office supplies
- Helping to manage the department files and servers and distribute artwork and photographic assets to other departments
- Managing the schedule of the departmental meeting room
- Undertaking ad hoc errands for the team as directed
Out of the office:
- Attending photoshoots with the team and acting as an on-set assistant
- Sourcing props or wardrobe, as directed by the team
- Scouting locations or studios
- Shopping for artist riders or shoot supplies
WHAT THEY ARE LOOKING FOR
- A creative and enthusiastic individual with an interest in music, design and photography
- Someone organised, pro-active and hard-working, who can manage their own workload
- A friendly, personable manner and with good communication skills – confidence when dealing with all kinds of people
- A positive ‘can-do’ attitude – a pro-active team-player, who is ready to muck in with a busy department on wide variety of tasks, big and small
- Strong attention to detail
- Previous experience in an office environment preferred
- Experience in a production environment (eg as a set or office runner for either stills, tv or video) would be very helpful but is not essential
- Experience using design software (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) would be very helpful but not essential
- Someone who will make the best use of this great opportunity to learn about not only the music industry but creative, design, fashion and photography
