Beltain Wicker Man Competition
Each year, Butser Ancient Farm celebrates the ancient Celtic festival of Beltain at the beginning of summer, with music, dancing and the burning of aĀ giant Wicker Man.
This year we would likeĀ youĀ to design the concept drawing for our Wicker Man!
It can be designed in any creative form, fromĀ a pencil sketch or watercolour to a digital design or sculpture. We will choose the best idea and attempt to construct it, in a similar process to the images shown below. We are looking for something original and eye-catching to wow the crowds before we burn it to the ground!
The winning designer will receive two free tickets to the Beltain festival, which will be held on Saturday 29th April 2017. Look backĀ on last yearās festivalĀ here!
