The last session of our teacher professional development course for 2015-16  will take place on June 15^th 2016 at Lifelab with Andri Christodoulou and Marcus Grace. This forms part of our activities with our Secondary Science PGCE teachers and it is part of the PARRISE project.

In this session we will be joined by a group of pre-service science teachers from UCL-IOE and their tutor Ruth Amos, and we will engage collaboratively in SSIBL activities focusing on the concepts of epigenetics, obesity, healthy lifestyles and behaviours. Our PGCE teachers will take part in hands-on activities focusing on ways of measuring health, and will then design classroom activities for secondary school pupils to engage them in socially-responsible inquiry about health and the science behind it.
