Mathematics teacher, and University of Southampton alumnus, William Emeny, picked up a top honour at the 2016 Pearson Teaching Awards. He was winner of the award for Teacher of the Year in a Secondary School.  William completed his mathematics PGCE at the University of Southampton in 2009-10. The ceremony was broadcast on BBC2 TV on 30th October 2016 at 6pm.
