About us

INSPIRE is an International Strategic Partnership In Research & Education between the University of Southampton’s School of Management and IMSciences, Peshawar, Pakistan. The project is supported by the British Council and The Higher Education Council in Pakistan.

The aims of the project are to:

• Develop the existing relationship between the School of Management, University of Southampton (UK) and IMSciences  Peshawar to a new strategic level that will fully realise the benefits of existing links.
• Identify and explore areas for collaboration within curriculum development, joint research, doctoral studies and faculty exchange in the fields of innovation and sustainable entrepreneurship.
• Facilitate relationships between HEIs, industry, and relevant governmental organisations.
• Create new research/evidence-based knowledge concerning the sustainability, governance, leadership & development of SMEs in Pakistan.
• Facilitate outreach to improve performance, management practice of SMEs and enhance their relationships with HEIs in the region.
