Getting the most out of Feedback

Feedback? What’s it all about?

Lecturers give feedback on student work, students provide feedback on their courses to their lecturers. Lecturers provide feedback to their colleagues and student provide feedback to other students. Professional organisations provide feedback on our curriculum and quality managers provide and receive feedback from staff and students. Feedback can be spoken, in writing, in electronic form, though comments on essays, staff-student committees and official reports. It can occur over email, by telephone, on social media websites or through surveys such as the National Student Survey (NSS).
