Presenters and participants will have multiple opportunities to engage over a full week of talks, panel sessions and informal discussions.<\/p>\n<p>After our first ever fully online <a href=\"https:\/\/braveconversations.org\/southampton-2020\/\">Brave Conversations<\/a> on Monday 6th, the PhD Symposium and Workshops, the main conference will be introduced by <a href=\"https:\/\/eur03.safelinks.protection.outlook.com\/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwebsci20.webscience.org%2Fspeakers%2F%23Wax&amp;data=01%7C01%7Ccaf1m20%40soton.ac.uk%7Ce5a4cb65d07340d64d9808d818d174fc%7C4a5378f929f44d3ebe89669d03ada9d8%7C0&amp;sdata=W8xIFd3BDLv4jHsNFEQgs1%2FcEkBfDS6o2uIIosuZYFg%3D&amp;reserved=0\">Ruby Wax<\/a> on 8<sup>th<\/sup> July. Ruby is Chancellor of the University of Southampton and has had a hugely successful career with BBC television as an interviewer and comedian. She has written numerous scripts for TV and film including the hit show \u201cAbsolutely Fabulous\u201d. After Ruby\u2019s welcome the first Keynote Presentation will be delivered by Professor <a href=\"https:\/\/eur03.safelinks.protection.outlook.com\/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwebsci20.webscience.org%2Fspeakers%2F%23Neff&amp;data=01%7C01%7Ccaf1m20%40soton.ac.uk%7Ce5a4cb65d07340d64d9808d818d174fc%7C4a5378f929f44d3ebe89669d03ada9d8%7C0&amp;sdata=aY7WaidkrclFF1XwKsUFgDt2CLpic37nA8JFHPjN0uE%3D&amp;reserved=0\">Gina Neff<\/a> from the Oxford Internet Institute, University of Oxford. Gina\u2019s research focuses on the future of work.
