It offers both emerging and established artists the opportunity to showcase their work to a wider audience, and further their engagement with the international art world. The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aestheticamagazine.com\/art-prize\/judging-panel\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Judging Panel<\/strong><\/a> enhances its position in the industry, bringing together specialists from leading cultural institutions.<\/p>\n<p>The award attracts thousands of entries in a range of innovative media from locations as diverse as Australia, Germany, India, Japan, Malaysia, the Netherlands, the UK and the USA. Recent finalists include acclaimed director <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tobydye.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Toby Dye<\/a>; Tokyo-based French architect and artist <a href=\"http:\/\/www.emmanuellemoureaux.com\/all\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Emmanuelle Moureaux<\/a>;\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.2ra.co\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Rachel Ara<\/a>, founder of the artists collective [ALLOY]; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.liz-west.com\/\">Liz West<\/a>, recipient of the Royal British Society of Sculptors Bursary Award; and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.elliedavies.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ellie Davies<\/a>, who has since shown\u00a0new and recent works in the\u00a0exhibition\u00a0<em>Into the Woods<\/em>\u00a0at Crane Kalman, London.<\/p>\n<p>Previous finalists include\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.johnkeaneart.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">John Keane<\/a>, former official British war artist, currently represented by Flowers Gallery in London; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.juliavogl.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Julia Vogl<\/a>, member of the Royal British Society of Sculptors and twice selected for Public Art Network Year in Review projects; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jiachiann.net\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ingrid Hu<\/a>, former designer at the Lubetkin-winning Heatherwick Studio; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.marcusjansen.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Marcus Jansen<\/a>, a leading modern expressionist; and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bernatmilletphotography.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bernat Millet<\/a>, shortlisted for National Portrait Gallery\u2019s Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Entry costs: \u00a324 | Submissions open until 31 August 2018.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>Prizes<\/h3>\n<div class=\"box-wrapper\">\n<div class=\"three-quarters\">\n<p>There are two awards for entry: the <strong>Main Art Prize<\/strong> and the <strong>Emerging Art Prize.<\/strong> The Emerging Art Prize is open to current students and artists who have graduated within the last two years. Longlisted artists receive publication in the\u00a0<em>Future Now\u00a0<\/em>Annual. Shortlisted artists receive publication and are invited to take part in a group exhibition. The shortlist is eligible to win either the Main Art Prize or the Emerging Art Prize.<\/li>\n<li>If you are shortlisted for the Prize, you will be asked to supply your artwork for the exhibition in York, UK.
