The role\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This role will encompass all the general day to day duties of a sales assistant working inside a busy art and design shop. The role will include serving customers, replenishing stock and keeping the shop floor clean and tidy. Other responsibilities will include reconciling the tills, opening and closing the shop when necessary and also ordering of stock. The role will vary according to customer levels, depending on the time of year \u2013 whether it is term time or not.

Your profile<\/span>
\nYou will preferably have previous experience of working within an art and design shop, and have a proven track record of working in a retail environment. You should have a good knowledge of art materials, and have an interest in the arts. You will need to be efficient, responsible, flexible and hard-working, being able to work on your own and as part of a team.<\/p>\n
