{"id":1407,"date":"2016-11-01T18:30:35","date_gmt":"2016-11-01T18:30:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.soton.ac.uk\/wsaopps\/?p=1407"},"modified":"2017-01-25T11:20:14","modified_gmt":"2017-01-25T11:20:14","slug":"design-intern-position-university-of-southamptonjaguar-land-rover-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.soton.ac.uk\/wsaopps\/design-intern-position-university-of-southamptonjaguar-land-rover-project\/","title":{"rendered":"Design Intern Position &#8211; University of Southampton\/Jaguar Land Rover Project"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We are looking for a creative individual to develop and produce design concepts for the HI:DAVe project \u2013 \u2018Human Interaction: Designing Automation in Vehicles\u2019 \u2013 a collaboration between Jaguar Landrover, Cambridge University and University of Southampton.<\/p>\n<p>The right applicant will be able to communicate novel interactions between driver and car in autonomous vehicles through graphic design, video and\/or animation.<\/p>\n<p>You will be:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proficient at Adobe Illustrator\/Photoshop<\/li>\n<li>Able to convert files for different uses (e.g., preserving quality\/reducing file size for use in documents, presentations, etc)<\/li>\n<li>Have great graphic\/video communication skills: able to express reasons for design choices<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This internship is 1 day a week until the end of January, pref on Monday or Thursday, though open to negotiation. This is a paid position.
