From couture-inspired<br \/>\ntechniques to luxurious heritage fabrics, every KM garment has a story to tell.<\/p>\n<p>Our collection is a curated collection of perfectly cut trend-led and investment pieces offering an elevated,<br \/>\ntailored approach to fashion. Truly international, Karen Millen has stores in over 65 countries across six<br \/>\ncontinents including flagship stores in London\u2019s Knightsbridge and New York\u2019s Fifth Avenue.<\/p>\n<p>We are looking for someone to assist the PR team in implementing the PR communication strategy.<\/p>\n<p>The ideal candidate will be passionate about PR, forward thinking with a proactive approach, who is eager<br \/>\nto learn new skills.<\/p>\n<p>We are looking for someone who can:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage all press collections including intake of new collections and online sample management<br \/>\nprogram (Sparkle).<\/li>\n<li>Working closely with the design team to support press requests and head office requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Press liaison for image and price requests.<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring media for editorial coverage and updating PR team<\/li>\n<li>Compiling press coverage documents for internal stakeholder meetings.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in securing press attendance to all launches<\/li>\n<li>Manage mail outs, press release distribution and publication targets.<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring the press database, ensuring contacts are fully up-to-date and relevant, researching new contacts and titles as required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In return for you offering us your talent and commitment, we can offer you:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The chance to work with an established international PR team<\/li>\n<li>Copious cups of coffee (or tea\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026or hot chocolate)<\/li>\n<li>An exciting, open and inspiring working environment, with friendly employees that nurture and develop<br \/>\ntheir skills<\/li>\n<li>To be a hands on member of the PR team, gaining vital experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This is an unpaid Internship.<\/p>\n<p>You need to be flexible throughout June, August or September 2016 as this is a 3 week full time placement.<\/p>\n<p>If you are interested in applying send your Covering Letter and CV to <a href=\"mailto:Workwithus@karenmillen.co.uk\">Workwithus@karenmillen.co.uk<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Please note due to the high volume of applications that we receive only successful applicants will be<br \/>\ncontacted.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>PR Work Experience Intern Born and bred in England, The Karen Millen brand is known globally for creating beautifully crafted fashion for confident women who know their own style.
